Earmark a few hours to explore the picturesque, oceanfront campus of Endicott College, one of the finest liberal arts schools in New England. Originally founded as a women’s college in 1939 and named for John Endicott, an early overseer of Harvard University and the first governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, today, we are proud to partner with Endicott’s hospitality program and to welcome our guests at the Wylie Inn, once a college residence hall.
The Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts at Endicott College supports a thriving performing and visual arts program. The center features a 250-seat performance hall with professional acoustics and a 100-seat theater for drama and dance performances, as well as a museum-quality art gallery that offers workshops for painting, woodworking, and photography. The center hosts dozens of exciting events throughout the year, including art exhibits, lectures, concerts, and ballets.
The most exciting recent addition to Endicott College is the Raymond J. Bourque Ice Arena, which opened in September 2015. The arena is the home rink for Endicott’s men’s and women’s hockey teams, and is open to visitors for free skating or an impromptu hockey match. Endicott also hosts the Post Center Sports Facility, which features a newly renovated fitness center with the latest exercise machines, 13 LED TVs, and iPod-compatible equipment. Men’s and Women’s basketball, indoor soccer, floor hockey, arena football, broomball – you name it, and Endicott College offers it!
